We're always hiring experienced B2B tech PR strategists, media relations leads, and GEO/AI-search specialists. No committee interviews. Just senior people doing the best work of their careers for tech brands that deserve it.
Crackle PR is always hiring. We do not maintain a list of specific openings because the people we want to work with do not respond to job postings. Instead, we keep an open conversation with senior B2B tech PR operators who want to do better work in a smaller, more accountable environment than the holding-company alternative.
Every person we hire is a senior practitioner. That is not a slogan — it is the operating model. The strategist in the pitch is the strategist on the account. Every client gets the most experienced people in the firm, every week.
Our work is squarely in B2B technology: SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, fintech, martech, and data infrastructure. If you have spent your career learning how this market moves — how journalists at The Wall Street Journal, The Information, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, and the trade press actually decide what to cover — that experience compounds here. Generalist agency veterans who want to specialize, and tech specialists who want a smaller stage, both do well.
We were one of the first PR firms in the country to treat GEO and LLM optimization as core practice rather than a marketing buzzword. If you are a strategist, content lead, or technical SEO operator who wants to build the playbook for how brands get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude, this is a rare seat. The category is being defined right now.
We are remote-first across the United States. Most of the team works from home, with optional in-person hubs in Boston, New York City, San Francisco, and Portsmouth, NH. Client cadence is synchronous; internal work is asynchronous and respectful of focus time.
To start a conversation, email parry@cracklepr.com with a short summary of the work you have done and the kind of work you want to do next. We read every qualified note and respond personally.
Senior Account Directors — run multi-client portfolios end-to-end, from strategy through media execution. Past agency or in-house experience required; comfort with founder-led clients essential.
Senior Media Relations Leads — own journalist relationships across business, technology, and vertical trade press. Track record of placing in tier-one outlets without leaning on press-release distribution.
GEO and AEO Specialists — build the systems that get clients cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude. SEO operators, technical content strategists, and structured-data practitioners welcome.
Senior Content and Editorial Strategists — develop bylines, thought-leadership programs, and long-form research that earns links and AI citations. Strong writing portfolio required.
Analyst Relations Practitioners — manage Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and category-analyst programs for B2B tech clients. Briefing, inquiry, and Magic Quadrant cycle experience required.
We are remote-first, async-by-default, and senior-only. The cadence is shaped by client work — weekly syncs, biweekly strategy reviews, monthly reporting — but internal process is light. There are no status meetings for the sake of status meetings.
Decisions are made by the people closest to the work. If you are the strategist on the account, you own the strategy. The founder is available, the team is collaborative, and clients are addressed at the level they deserve — but no one is waiting for permission to do the right thing.
Compensation is competitive with senior roles at independent and holding-company tech PR firms. We do not disclose ranges publicly because every senior hire is scoped to the person and the book of business they bring with them. We will be specific in the first conversation.
Crackle PR hires experienced operators across the continental United States. We have optional in-person hubs in Boston, MA, New York City, NY, San Francisco, CA, and Portsmouth, NH.
We are particularly interested in senior practitioners in major tech corridors — the Boston / Cambridge / Portsmouth corridor, the New York / Brooklyn / Jersey City corridor, the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, Austin, Seattle, Chicago, Washington DC, and Denver / Boulder. But location is secondary. The right operator anywhere is more valuable than the wrong operator in the right zip code.
International candidates with US client experience and US working hours are welcome to apply but should expect a longer onboarding cycle.
Email parry@cracklepr.com. In the body, include: the kind of work you have done, the clients or brands most representative of that work, and the kind of role you want to grow into next. A LinkedIn URL is fine — a resume is optional.
Our process is short: an intro call with the founder, a working session with the team you would join, and a reference round. No take-home tests. No panel interviews. We make decisions in days, not months.
Every qualified inquiry gets a personal response. If we are not the right fit today, we will say so directly and keep the door open for later.
