VC-Backed

TL;DR: A company that has raised institutional venture capital and is on a high-growth trajectory.

What is VC-Backed?

A VC-backed company is one that has raised institutional venture capital and is operating on a high-growth trajectory with an expectation of significant scale or exit. VC-backed PR programs differ from corporate PR because the velocity, milestones, and accountability for pipeline impact are sharper. Crackle PR works exclusively with VC-backed technology companies (Series A through pre-IPO) because the velocity, milestone density, and pipeline accountability of venture-backed PR is a fundamentally different operating discipline from corporate PR.
